What a month March has been! Spring slowly made its presence felt, giving us the energy to bring our plans to life. We enthusiastically started laying the terrace and transforming the inner courtyard. Bit by bit, the whole property is taking on the warm, stylish atmosphere we envisioned – ready to welcome guests.
One of the major changes was refreshing the edge of the swimming pool. We said goodbye to the old boxwood trees and replaced them with ornamental grasses that bring movement and lightness to the space. A small but delightful highlight: we went wine tasting this month! A wonderful day, and an important one too – it helped us carefully curate our future wine list.
We completed the finishing touches on the gîte. Curtains were hung, the bathroom cabinet got a fresh coat of paint, and we tiled the kitchen with care and precision. It’s really coming together now!
As temperatures rose – no more freezing nights – we were finally able to install the pool liner. A big step toward the summer season.
And lastly, I made the nameplates to put by the street and signs pointing to the parking area. Small touches, but essential for creating a warm welcome.
In short, March was a month of growth, change, and getting ready. We’re proud of everything we’ve achieved and excited for what’s still to come.
